This bundle consists of 3 × Faraday Energy Glass 225Wp PERC S3 solar panels with a combined output of 675Wp. A powerful basis for campers, camper vans, boats, and other off-grid installations with higher daily energy needs.
- 675Wp total solar power
- Monocrystalline PERC solar cells
- Panel dimensions: 1595 × 705 × 35 mm
- MC4 connectors and approximately 80 cm connection cable per panel
Why this Faraday Energy Glass bundle?▾
- High yield on a limited available roof area.
- Tempered glass and a sturdy aluminum frame for fixed mounting.
- Water-resistant junction box and bypass diodes limit yield loss in partial shade.
- Suitable for a carefully dimensioned 12V or 24V installation.
The actual yield depends on the season, solar radiation, shade, mounting direction, and battery charge status.

Please note: with three panels, always check the temperature-corrected Voc. Even at the lowest expected temperature, the total open-circuit voltage must remain below the maximum 100V input of the charge controller.
Wiring and suitable charge controller▾
For this bundle, we recommend connecting the panels in series. This keeps the current through the solar cable limited. Use a Victron BlueSolar MPPT 100/50. According to Victron, this charge controller can handle a maximum of 700Wp with a 12V battery and 1400Wp with a 24V battery.
Always check the panel voltage, temperature-corrected Voc, cable length, cable cross-section, and settings for the battery type used before installation.
What else do you need?▾
- Charge controller: Victron BlueSolar MPPT 100/50.
- Solar cable: 6mm² solar cable set, 2 × 5m with connectors.
- Battery cable: for a 12V system, usually short 16mm² battery cables; check the cross-section based on length and installation method.
- Protection: a suitable MIDI fuse and MIDI fuse holder, close to the battery or positive distributor.
- Roof feed-through: a suitable roof feed-through.
- Cable management: UV and weather-resistant adhesive mounts and cable ties.
The final fuse rating and cable cross-section depend on system voltage, cable length, and installation setup.
Mounting on camper, boat or frame▾
Camper van: for each panel, preferably use aluminum Z-profiles on a ribbed or slightly curved metal roof.
Boat: for each panel, use suitable plastic corner brackets on a suitable flat deck.
Flat camper roof: for the panel width of 705 mm, no suitable spoiler wider than 68 cm is available. Therefore, mount the panels with Z-profiles or corner brackets, or on a suitable frame or roof rack.
Measure the complete setup in advance and take into account roof hatches, ventilation, shade, and safe cable routes. Use suitable construction sealant and primers and waterproof all feed-throughs.
Common mistakes▾
- Connecting the panels directly to the battery.
- Only looking at wattage and forgetting the total Voc or cold-temperature margin.
- Using a cable that is too thin for solar or battery.
- Not setting the charge controller correctly for the battery type.
- Not accounting for shade, roof obstacles, and mounting space.
