The Xenteq PurePowerSwitch 12V 3000W (PPS 3000-212) is a pure sine wave inverter with a built-in bypass / transfer switch. This allows it to automatically switch between shore power and inverter, so your 230V appliances can remain connected without a separate transfer switch box.

12 V 3000 W continuous 6000 W peak Pure sine wave Bypass (automatic switching) App (PurePower)
What can you do with it?
  • More 230V “space” than 2000W: multiple chargers, heavier tools or kitchen appliances (situation-dependent).
  • Keep appliances connected and automatically switch between shore power and battery inverter (bypass).
  • Practical if you frequently stay at campsites but also often want to work off-grid.

3000W in a 12V system means high currents on the battery side. Good cable gauges, fusing, and a short cable run are extra important here. Are you unsure if your battery/BMS can handle this? Send your appliance list (Watt) + battery data, and we will check it with you.

Unique: bypass function + adjustable priority

Thanks to the internal transfer relay (bypass), there is no need for a separate transfer switch box between shore power and the inverter. The 230V output automatically switches between mains power and inverter.

Choose priority (2 modes)

  • MAINS priority: shore power takes precedence as soon as it is available (to save battery).
  • INV priority: inverter/battery takes precedence; only switches to shore power when the set undervoltage is reached (useful with a lot of solar energy).

Transfer times (indicative)

  • Priority “MAINS”: mains power → inverter 40–65 ms, inverter → mains power 10–20 ms
  • Priority “INV”: mains power → inverter 2–10 ms, inverter → mains power 45–75 ms

Useful for campers/mobile workshops where you want to keep your appliances connected.

PurePower app & control (real-time + settings)
  • Real-time data reading via the free PurePower app.
  • Set to stand-by (useful if you don't temporarily need 230V).
  • Personalize settings, including undervoltage monitoring and restart timer (charge first, then switch on again).

Additional operating convenience? Can be extended with a remote control: PPR-1 or PPR-3.

Installation & safety (especially important for 12V 3000W)
  • Battery side: short, thick cables limit voltage drop and heat.
  • Protect the battery cable with a suitable external fuse (as close to the battery as possible). Ensure that you can de-energize the inverter for maintenance (via the fuse, a DC circuit breaker, or your system's main switch).
  • Ventilation: active cooling (fan). Place freely and not in an enclosed hot space.
  • 230V side: work neatly and safely; if in doubt, we advise on distribution/fusing/RCD.

Why via Faraday Energy?
  • Help with the right choice (2000W vs 3000W, and what this means for battery/BMS/cables).
  • Practical installation advice: fusing, cable gauges, placement, and 230V distribution.
  • Fast support with bypass/priority settings and app parameters.
  • One point of contact for delivery and service.
Need advice? (quick check)

Send us these 3 things, and you'll quickly receive tailored advice:

  • Battery: type (AGM/LiFePO₄), capacity (Ah) and 12V system
  • Which 230V appliances you want to use (with Watt)
  • Distance inverter ↔ battery (approximate)

Tip: combine this inverter with the correct fuse holder, main switch, and cable set. Then it is not only “functional,” but also safe and trouble-free.
