Batteries that are regularly discharged too deeply have a shorter lifespan. The deeper discharge causes sulfation, which ultimately leads to the battery failing prematurely. In a starter battery, starting problems can occur if the voltage level is too low.

This battery guard is the perfect solution to prevent these problems. The battery guard automatically switches off the power supply to the consumer(s) if the battery reaches too low a voltage level.

The cut-off voltage is adjustable, allowing you to determine when the power supply should be switched off. This way, you can determine the best cut-off voltage for each situation or battery type. A push button allows you to easily choose from 6 cut-off levels. In addition, this battery guard has the option of providing a pre-warning. This allows a warning to be given via a signal (light, buzzer) if the battery is about to reach the set cut-off voltage.

The power supply is automatically restored when the battery has sufficiently increased in voltage and reached the switch-on level.

The battery guard is suitable for both 12Vdc and 24Vdc systems. The correct system voltage will be automatically detected.
