Western WRM30 MPPT 30A

The WRM30+ is a solar charge controller suitable for large off-grid systems. It is designed for 12V/24V/48V systems with lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries and a photovoltaic power of up to 1.8 kW. This controller is intended for industrial applications such as power supply for TV/radio relays, traffic signs, or fully self-sufficient homes.

A special feature of this product is the presence of two separate charging inputs, and thus a dual input for solar panels. This allows for the management of two independent strings, for example, if they consist of solar panels with different characteristics (different brands of panels or different sizes with varying powers) or are exposed to two different slopes.

The load output can be controlled according to various user-selectable programs, such as continuous on, on only during the day or at night, or on for a number of hours at night. The WRM30+ detects the day/night status based on the voltage from the solar panel, eliminating the need for additional sensors.

The WRM30+ is compatible with the WRD, a control and display system connected to the internet for high-power MPPT systems.

At a system voltage of 12V, the solar charger can transmit a maximum of 225W of power from the solar panel; at a system voltage of 24V, it is up to 450W; and at a voltage of 48V, it is 900W. The maximum voltage (PV open circuit) that this solar charger can handle is 180V (per solar input).
