The Victron MultiPlus 12/1200/50-16 is an advanced inverter/charger combination specifically designed for off-grid applications such as RVs and boats. This powerful unit integrates a pure sine wave inverter with a continuous output of 1200VA (1000W), an adaptive battery charger with a 50A charging current, and a fast AC transfer switch, all housed in a compact IP 21 enclosure. Ideal for both DIY enthusiasts and owners looking to optimize their power supply.

Installation:

Use a 35mm² battery cable (not included) for connection.
Recommended DC fuse: 150A MEGA fuse.
Install the MultiPlus in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating.

Usage:

With the Digital Multi Control panel, you can set the maximum generator or shore power.
The MultiPlus takes into account other power consumers and uses the remaining power to charge the battery.
Settings can be adjusted via DIP switches or the VictronConnect app.

High Start-up Power: The MultiPlus can easily handle devices with high inrush current. This includes LED lamps, halogen lamps, or power tools that require a lot of power when switched on.
Search Mode: This function helps save energy. If there is no or little power consumption, the MultiPlus switches itself off and checks every two seconds if power is needed again. This reduces power consumption at no load by approximately 70%.
