Integration into the Lynx system ▾
The Distributor is mounted directly next to other Lynx modules using the M10 connection. The included RJ10 cable provides power and communication.
- With a Lynx Smart BMS, up to four Distributors can report fuse status.
- With a Lynx Shunt VE.Can, fuse status is only visible locally.
- The Lynx Distributor does not contain a main fuse for the battery bank; design the main protection separately.
Installation & fuses ▾
- Choose a MEGA fuse for each circuit that suits the cable cross-section and connected equipment.
- Use cable lugs and mounting hardware with the correct size and tightening torques.
- Mount the module in a dry, accessible location and protected from mechanical stress.
- De-energize the installation before fuses or cables are installed.
What else do you usually need? ▾
- MEGA fuses for the four outputs.
- Battery and device cables with M8 cable lugs.
- A suitable main fuse for the battery bank.
- Optionally a Lynx Smart BMS NG or Lynx Shunt VE.Can.
- Additional Lynx modules depending on the system design.
