The Victron Lithium SuperPack NG 12.8 V/200Ah is a smart LiFePO4 battery with an integrated BMS, self-heating, and Bluetooth. This makes it a practical solution for campers, boats, and off-grid installations.

With 2560Wh of nominal energy, this model combines a large usable capacity with easy integration into a new or existing electrical system.

Connecting and system compatibility ▾

The SuperPack NG is designed as a practical replacement for a lead battery and does not require an external BMS. The battery can be expanded in parallel for more capacity, but must not be connected in series.

  • Use a charger, MPPT controller, and alternator charger with a suitable lithium charging profile.
  • Size the inverter power and cable cross-section according to the allowed battery current.
  • Use the external feedback connection when the system needs to control charging and appliance signals.
Installation & safety ▾
  • Mount the battery on a flat surface, upright or on its long side.
  • Use the included mounting options and secure the battery against movement.
  • Place a suitable main fuse close to the battery.
  • Size cables and connection materials according to the current and cable length.
  • Use the on/off button for safe storage outside the season.
The integrated heating allows charging at low temperatures, but even then the charging source must be correctly set.

  • Main fuse and suitable fuse holder.
  • Battery cables and cable lugs with sufficient cross-section.
  • Suitable battery charger, MPPT charge controller and/or alternator charger.
  • If necessary, an inverter/charger suitable for the battery voltage and current limits.
  • VictronConnect app for monitoring and configuration.
FAQ ▾

Does this battery require an external BMS?
No. The SuperPack NG has an integrated BMS and internal electronic protection.

Can I combine multiple batteries?
Parallel connection for more capacity is possible. Series connection is not permitted.

Can the battery be charged below 0°C?
The built-in heater first brings the cells to a safe charging temperature. However, use suitable charging equipment and correct settings.
