- Microprocessor Controlled: Ensures precise and reliable operation in heavy-duty applications.
- Automatic Parallel Connection: Automatically connects batteries in parallel when the charging voltage is reached.
- Automatic Disconnection: Disconnects batteries as soon as the voltage drops below the float charge level.
- Minimal Voltage Loss: Practically no voltage loss, eliminating the need to increase the output voltage of alternators or battery chargers.
- Heavy-Duty Applications: Designed to meet the demands of robust and challenging electrical systems.
- Long bolts (M6) to allow connection of more than one power cable
- Not suitable for Euro 5 and 6 engines with a smart alternator.
Description
The Cyrix battery combiner is an advanced, microprocessor-controlled relay, ideal for heavy-duty applications. This relay automatically connects batteries in parallel when one of the batteries reaches the preset voltage, indicating that the battery is being charged. As soon as the voltage drops below the float charge level, the batteries are disconnected again, indicating that one or more batteries are being discharged. Cyrix battery combiners are an excellent alternative to traditional diode battery isolators due to their almost negligible voltage loss.
Applications:
- RVs: Ideal for managing house and starter batteries, and optimizing the charging cycle.
- Boats: Suitable for marine environments where multiple batteries need to be managed efficiently.
- Off-Grid Systems: Perfect for systems that use multiple batteries for a reliable power supply.
