The Victron Battery Monitor BMV-700 is an accurate battery monitor that measures voltage and current and calculates the state of charge, consumed ampere-hours and remaining operating time. The 500A/50mV shunt and a 10 meter RJ12 cable are included.

Application and compatibility

For lead-acid, AGM, gel and lithium batteries in campers, boats and off-grid systems. This model monitors one main battery.

Installation and points to consider

Place the shunt in the negative cable of the house battery and connect all consumers and charging sources to the system side of the shunt. Only then will all charging and discharging currents be measured. After installation, correctly set the battery capacity and charging parameters.
